Poker has been around for a long time but the truth of realising that champions of the World Series of Poker were conceived virtually changed the game beyond expectation. Texas Hold'em became the game to play any time the heart had a twitch for it and not just in a boozy Friday night session. The online explosion means there is a game to be found online any time day or night.

The ironic thing about playing poker online is the notion it being the "practice field" for "real" games. This is a common misconception and if you believe this then you should definitely try out a game online. It's real poker in the virtual world and the ring games and tournaments just don't get better than online.

If you are looking for beatable games to begin with, then look at the Noble or Paradise online poker room websites.
