Holdem Rules

 Texas Hold'em poker is a fun and easy to learn poker game that become the most popular poker game out there, its being played in tournaments, on tv, at casinos and for people enjoying time with freinds at home. The texas holdem poker rule and the game concept itself is pretty simple. Each player is dealt two cards face down (called pocket cards). The dealer then deals five community cards face up; these are available to all the players to help make their hand. Players may use any combination of their pocket cards and the community cards to make their hand. The best 5-card hand takes the pot.

Texas poker even has different versions, as there are 'no limit', 'pot limit', and 'fixed limit' variations

The basic texas holdem rules of the game are the same. The no limit texas holdem version is the kind you will most see played on television.   With the no limit texas holdem rule , a player can make the famous 'all-in' bet at during any round of betting where as  in pot limit poker, the players cannot exceed the size of the betting pool, or 'pot', while betting. Fixed limit poker games usually prescribe an amount equal to the ante, or a multiple of the ante, as the betting limit.

In the Official Texas Hold'em rules each player is required to take turns as a dealer. The dealer at the time is issued a button that denotes which of the players is the current dealer. There are four rounds of betting, the first 2 rounds requires a player to make bets and or raise based on the lower limit of the stakes structure.  

 In the final 2 rounds, the players can increase their bets and raise according to the upper limit set in the stakes structure. Players at the table are allowed four betting options - a bet, a raise, a re-raise, and a cap, which is the final bet. When a pot is capped, the Official Texas Hold'em Rule requires the rest of the players to do only one of two things - call or fold...
